Just picture it: your big day is finally here and you are walking down the aisle facing the love of your life with friends and family all around. Pause. What does the scenery look like when you imagine this moment? Are you inside, outside, or somewhere in between? Hi! It’s me, Maegan, with The Floral Pop, a local Nashville florist and wedding vendor, here to help you find the wedding venue you have been dreaming of.
Choosing a wedding venue can be overwhelming, with hundreds of options and creative new styles of venues popping up. As a florist who works with local venues in Nashville, TN, and travels across the country for destination weddings, I have indeed seen it all. All venues have their own charm and style and as a florist, I help each couple make their vision come to life while working with each venue's individual charm.
Let’s dive into my 12 favorite local Nashville wedding venues and why to help you on your search and maybe even introduce you to some that you may not have heard of:
This venue is truly a dream. Their space is artistic, modern and beautiful. It is a venue where the scene is set and all you have to do is add in your color scheme with florals and accents. Located in McMinnville, TN, about an hour and a half from downtown Nashville, their 95 acres are a great escape from the bustling city for the perfect middle Tennessee wedding.
Sometimes, you find a venue that exceeds your expectations, and Saint Elle is one of those. Located near the popular Wedgewood Houston neighborhood, this venue is the perfect mix of Nashville vibes without being in the heart of the city. Their staff is top-notch, and the space is breathtaking. Not to mention, they have two sister venues that cater to any wedding style.
Cheekwood is a classic Nashville staple. Their weddings are exceptionally beautiful and require little effort on the couple’s behalf. The grounds of Cheekwood are already filled with the beauty of nature and florals and have so many beautiful spots to feature in the ceremony and reception. It is undoubtedly one of the best outdoor spaces in Nashville.
The Ruskin is an awe-inspiring cave venue about an hour from Nashville in Dickson, TN. This venue has a fascinating history and stands out among many Nashville venues with its unique natural design. I absolutely love working with their phenomenal staff and would highly recommend this to any couple looking for a different, out-of-the-box venue option.
This charming chapel in Spring Hill, TN, about an hour outside of the city, is the perfect space for a couple looking for a demure chapel to say, “I do.” The venue owners are exceptional to work with and some of the sweetest folks you will ever meet in the wedding industry. They thought of everything a couple needs for the day of their wedding. With the ceremony chapel and separate reception space, it is a venue that is a beautiful canvas ready to be decorated with your chosen florals.
Speaking of chapel-style weddings, this venue features a stunning open-air chapel with an outstanding cocktail garden and laid-back reception spaces. It is my go-to recommendation for fall weddings, as it sets the scene perfectly for the most beautiful fall-inspired photos. Not to mention, couples can choose between this venue’s numerous options for ceremony and reception spaces throughout their 85 acres of indoor and outdoor venues.
If you are looking for a stunning setting for a luxury wedding, look no further than the Belle Meade Plantation. This space is highly valued in the Nashville community and is located in the historical Belle Meade neighborhood known for the Nashville elite and racehorses. Not only do they have an exceptionally beautiful venue, but they also have a winery on-site for your guests to enjoy. I haven’t had the chance to work here yet, but I’d really like to!
Formerly the home of Reba McEntire, this venue is a gorgeous option for luxury weddings. This property is currently owned and operated by Infinity Hospitality and they provide exceptional service for their couples. I LOVE their many options for where to have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception; my personal favorite is the Lakeside Lawn! The estate is only 30 minutes outside of Nashville in Lebanon, TN, and it is a convenient space for friends and family, no matter where they are arriving from.
Ravenswood Mansion is known for hosting absolutely BEAUTIFUL weddings on their front lawn. I’ve personally witnessed the most stunning weddings at this venue. They have created the perfect space for receptions commonly held in the tent out on the mansion's side lawn. Within this tent is the ideal space to have a fantastic live band for your reception and dancing! With this venue located just outside of the city, in Brentwood, TN, wedding guests can enjoy the perks of Nashville while also soaking in the beauty of this outstanding venue location.

Long Hollow Gardens is a truly spectacular space with multiple options for outdoor ceremonies and receptions, as well as an indoor garden and conservatory space. Their team is incredible to work with, and the venue has gorgeous vineyards that will make an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding in any season! Located right outside of Nashville in Gallatin, TN, this venue is the perfect stop for luxurious local or destination weddings.
This venue is about an hour and a half outside of Nashville but is absolutely worth it for its unique and rustic vibes! I love how the large fireplace at one end of the reception space creates a warm and cozy vibe throughout the room and how they lean into their design and overall theming throughout the entire venue. Their cocktail lawn is a fantastic space to set up lawn games for guests to play during the cocktail hour and the reception.
If you are a couple looking for a gorgeous downtown setting, look no further than the Country Music Hall of Fame. This venue shows off the Nashville skyline and accentuates everything Nashville offers. With its convenient location, guests can enjoy the city before and after your event. It’s a luxurious space and is meant to host a LOT of friends and family. They have exceptional staff and ensure that every wedding guest is well taken care of and goes home with a wonderful experience.
